What is BAScii?

Launched in 2019, the Bachelor of Arts and Science in Integrated Innovation (BAScii) is one of the newest international degree programs in Chulalongkorn University.

Fabrication Lab (FabLab)

empowers students to bring their ideas to life through hands-on experience in developing physical prototypes. Equipped with tools such as 3D printers, laser cutters, and robotic arms, students can explore automation and fabrication techniques. This creative space encourages innovation and experimentation, allowing students to transform concepts into tangible solutions, fostering a culture of making and engineering that is essential for future entrepreneurs.

Social Innovation Lab

supports students in driving impactful social change through classes, lab initiatives, fieldwork, and partnerships. By engaging in real-world projects like RoiJaiRak—which aims to uplift hill tribe communities—or collaborating with organizations such as TIJ (Thailand Institute of Justice), students gain hands-on experience addressing societal challenges and foster a mindset of social responsibility to positively impact communities and promote long-term change.

The AI Lab at BAScii

offers a hands-on, project-driven experiences, where students gain practical knowledge of AI-related concepts, such as machine learning, data analytics, and neural networks. More than just a physical space with equipment, the AI Lab is a hub for innovative learning and real-world applications, like the AI Bootcamp for freshmen students organized jointly with the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT).
