CSII and House of Griffin Collaborate to Enhance Higher Education Opportunities for ASEAN Students

The Chulalongkorn School of Integrated Innovation (CSII) has signed an agreement with House of Griffin (HoG) to help students from the ASEAN region, including Thailand, enhance their educational opportunities and bridge the gap between high school and university admission. This objective is at the core of the agreement signed on October 27, 2023, by Professor Worsak Kanok-Nukulchai, Executive Director of CSII, and Santivipa Phanichkul, Chair of the Board of House of Griffin (HOG).

During the signing of the agreement at CSII’s premises, Professor Worsak informed the visiting delegation that the formation of the School marked a significant milestone as it was designed as a “speedboat project” of Chulalongkorn University, thereby emphasizing the School’s speedboat-like agility. “Our curriculum is unique, which is one of CSII’s distinguishing features. Despite being founded just over four years ago, we have already updated our curriculum in record time,” said Prof. Worsak. “CSII is a pioneer in many ways, and we are dedicated to introducing an innovative model of education,” he added.

Chair of the HoG Board Santivipa Phanichkul stressed that the primary focus of the agreement is to bridge the gap between future high school graduates and university admissions through the “High School Express: Pre-university and beyond Program” of the HoG International Academy, which was launched in August 2023. The program is intended to assist ASEAN, and in particular Thai students in achieving university admission.

Following the agreement, HoG will put forward 20 candidates for enrollment in the Bachelor of Applied Science in Integrated Innovation (BAScii) program: five from Thailand and 15 from other ASEAN countries. CSII will consider these candidates for admission provided they meet the BAScii admission criteria.

The visiting delegation included representatives from House of Griffin, Kasetsart University, and members of the media.
