CSII has unveiled White Elephant Scholarships for deserving, exceptionally brilliant Thai applicants. This distinguished award seeks to honor and support the aspirations of outstanding Thai students eager to embark on the four-year Bachelor of Arts and Science in Integrated Innovation (BAScii) journey at CSII.
This special scholarship program is designed for exceptionally talented students who meet BAScii’s rigorous admission requirements. Applicants must demonstrate both personal academic excellence and a genuine need for financial support.
“Much like the rare white elephant, this scholarship is also a rarity, reserved solely for exceptional students who lack the financial means to pursue the program,” said Professor Worsak Kanok-Nukulchai during the scholarship announcement. “Our principle is clear: Let no deserving individual be left behind,” he added. The scholarship gains even more significance as Thailand actively grapples with the challenges of global talent competition. In an aging society and amidst the worldwide drive to attract talent, this scholarship aims to discover and nurture local talent, offering them a high-quality international academic experience right here in Thailand.
The White Elephant Scholarship Program is a unique initiative aimed at identifying and supporting exceptionally gifted students. Much like the rare and revered whiteelephant, these applicants possess remarkable skills and potential. Yet financial constraints hinder them from achieving their aspirations. The scholarship will cover tuition fees for a span of four years amounting to a value of THB 1.768 million. Recipients of the White Elephant scholarship are expected not only to uphold an outstanding academic standard each semester but also to actively participate in the school’s extracurricular activities.
The scholarship is based on a 50:50 matching grant model, with a partner from the private sector contributing 50 percent of the scholarship funds while the school matches the remaining 50 percent.
