As the year draws to a close, it’s time to pause and reflect on the milestones that have defined our journey. Just as Spotify Wrapped and Apple Music Recap capture the soundtracks of our lives, we at CSII are thrilled to present our own "Wrapped" - a look back at the moments that shaped 2024 and a glimpse into the exciting future ahead. From welcoming new students to bidding farewell to graduates, strengthening leadership, fostering partnerships, and celebrating faculty achievements, this year has been nothing short of extraordinary.
1. Welcoming New Faces to BAScii Family
This year, we proudly welcomed new students to BAScii program. Each of them brings unique talents and aspirations, and we are excited to see how they will contribute to our vibrant community. As they embark on their entrepreneurial journeys, these students will explore, innovate, and challenge themselves in ways that will shape their futures—and ours. To our newest members: welcome to the BAScii family. Your journey is just beginning, and we’re honored to be part of it.
2. Celebrating the Class of 2024
This year also marked a bittersweet moment as we celebrated the graduation of 90 BAScii002 students. Armed with their BAScii degrees and having achieved an astounding 52 - 1st Class Honors, and 29 - 2nd Class Honors honors, they now step confidently into their careers. While we are sad to see them go, we know they will continue to inspire as part of our alumni community. To our graduates: your achievements are a testament to your hard work, and we look forward to seeing the impact you will make in the world.
3. Strengthening Our Leadership
2024 brought a significant transition in our leadership. We bid farewell to our founding Executive Director, Prof. Dr. Worsak Kanok-Nukulchai, whose vision laid the foundation for CSII and BAScii program, and welcomed Prof. Dr. Suchada Sukrong as our new Executive Director. Alongside this change, we appointed new Deputy Executive Directors to ensure we remain innovative and adaptive. These leadership changes reaffirm our commitment to the mission we set in 2019: to equip students with the tools to become entrepreneurial leaders in a rapidly evolving world.
4. Building Bridges with Global Partners
This year, we deepened our connections with industry partners, organizations, and institutions across the globe. From collaborative projects to mentorship opportunities, these partnerships ensure that our students are prepared for the future workforce. By embracing the triple helix model of collaboration between academia, industry, and government, we continue to create a dynamic ecosystem where talent thrives and innovation flourishes.
5. Celebrating Faculty and Staff Excellence
Our faculty and staff have made remarkable strides this year, contributing to the global academic community through impactful research, publishing textbooks, and participating in international conferences. They have also embraced professional growth, learning new skills to ensure we provide the best service and education to our students. Their commitment to lifelong learning not only enhances their expertise but also ensures that our students benefit from diverse and cutting-edge perspectives. Looking Ahead to 2025
As we step into 2025, we carry forward the lessons and achievements of this year - big and small. From student projects success, signing new MOUs, and hosting special events to launching our new website and even introducing a new mascot (which we can’t wait to share more about next year), every milestone brings us closer to our mission. While we can not possibly fit everything in one post, we are thankful to everyone who supports our School's vision.
