The Chulalongkorn School of Integrated Innovation (ScII) will co-host the finals of the Thailand round of the Entrepreneurship World Cup, an event that carries a global prize money of $1 million, on October 25, 2022. The $1 million prize consists of cash and/or investment for the global winners and comes with a combined $100 million in in-kind support for the top 100 global finalists.
The Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) and the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha’at) are the global organizers of the event, while GEN (Thailand) is the national organizer for Thailand. The National Innovation Agency (NIA), ScII, and the Young Seekers Thailand are the event partners.
The Thailand edition of the contest will select a winner who will participate in the finals of the global competition, which will be staged in Saudi Arabia. Similar contests are being held in 112 countries worldwide.
The ten finalists from Thailand are Tasted Better, Defire Tech Co. Ltd., Omoo Co. L t d., Finema Co. Ltd., Jasberry, VEKIN, Biocafe, Shout, Pestation, and B.Studious, with one team proceeding to the next round. Three teams consisting of 12 students from ScII\'s undergraduate program, the Bachelor of Arts and Science in Integrated Innovation (BAScii) are among the finalists.
The event will be held from 9:00 to 14:00 in the auditorium of the Chaloem Rajakumari 60 Building, Phayathai Road, Bangkok.
GEN Thailand is one of Chulalongkorn School of Integrated Innovation’s industry partners, with the two having signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on May 17, 2022.
