Professor Agachai Sumalee, a faculty member in the Chulalongkorn School of Integrated Innovation (ScII), has been ranked among the top 2% of scholars worldwide. He is featured in a publicly available database of top-cited scientists created by the Netherlands-based academic publishing company Elsevier.
Titled “Updated Science-wide Author Databases of Standardized Citation Indicators,” the database categorizes scientists into 22 scientific fields and 176 sub-fields. The selection is based on the composite score (C-score) of the top 100,000 scientists, or those with a percentile rank of 2% or above in their sub-field. This is the fourth iteration of the database, which has been updated to 2021.
With 142 published papers and a 3.3416 composite score, Prof. Agachai is a leading scholar in the sub-fields of Logistics & Transportation, Artificial Intelligence, and Image Processing within the fields of Economics and Business. Earlier, the Alpher-Doger Scientific Index 2021 had ranked Dr. Agachai No 1 Scientist in Thailand in the field of Entrepreneurship and Business Management.
As an additional accolade, the database includes 44 scholars from Chulalongkorn University.
