A Global Partnership for Innovation and Growth
CSII x Queen Mary University partnership marks a significant milestone in expanding global academic opportunities for BAScii students. Recently formalized through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on January 17, this collaboration between Chulalongkorn School of Integrated Innovation (CSII) and Queen Mary University of London (QMUL), one of the world’s top 100 universities1, aims to provide BAScii students with an international platform for academic growth and career advancement. The MOU was signed by Professor Alex Clark, Dean of International (Faculty of Science and Engineering) at Queen Mary University of London, and Professor Suchada Sukrong, Executive Director of CSII. Undoubtedly, this partnership aligns with CSII’s mission to connect its students with leading global institutions and foster the next generation of innovative leaders.

The 4+1 Progression Agreement: A Unique Opportunity for BAScii Students
At the core of this collaboration is a 4+1 degree program, which allows qualified CSII students to pursue a one-year master’s degree at QMUL after completing their undergraduate studies. This seamless progression opens doors to master’s programs in fields such as Advanced Robotics, Biomedical Engineering, Business Analytics, and Entrepreneurship and Innovation. As part of the CSII and Queen Mary joint program, BAScii students will benefit not only from a simplified application process, but also personalized consultation sessions, and an exclusive 10% tuition discount for partner students. During the event, Professor Wen Wang, Vice-Principal and Executive Dean (Faculty of Science and Engineering) at QMUL, expressed his admiration for CSII and highlighted the many exciting ways Queen Mary and CSII can collaborate in the future.

Strengthening Academic Collaboration & Future Prospects
In addition to academic mobility, this international academic partnership promises to strengthen collaboration between the two institutions through joint research initiatives, faculty exchanges, and future academic developments. The MOU represents a shared vision to foster innovation and create real-world impact by bridging the gap between education and global industries.
Through this Queen Mary University partnership, CSII continues to build partnerships with leading universities. As a result, this initiative stands as a testament to its commitment to providing students with unparalleled learning experiences.
