Admissions for the Bachelor of Arts and Science in Integrated Innovation (BAScii) program will begin on December 9. This is a four-year degree program that has created waves since it was launched a little over three years ago.
The Early Admissions Round will take place from 9-24 December 2021. The Early International Admissions round will open on December 20, 2021 and will run until February 4, 2021. BAScii offers 100 places, most of which will be filled in this round. A second round will be offered in February 2022 to accommodate those who missed the deadline or were unable to apply due to various circumstances. There will, however, be a limited number of places for both Thai and international students in the second round, which will open in February.
\"This batch will mark the completion of BAScii\'s four-year cycle of admissions. We will now have all four batches: freshers, sophomores, seniors, and final-year students,\" said Prof. Worsak Kanok Nukulchai, Executive Director of the Chulalongkorn School of Integrated Innovation (ScII). The first batch of BAScii students will graduate in 2022-23.
\"ScII has been the talk of the town since it was founded in 2019 as an academy for the future, and we are now entering a new phase,\" Prof. Worsak said. ScII offers a modern and unique curriculum, and in contrast to traditional programs, we will update our curriculum every two years to help students become future global citizens. (Please read: ScII Philosophy & Approach)
BAScii focuses on integrated innovations and offers four specializations: Digital Economy, Artificial Intelligence, and Robotics; Sustainable Development; Inclusive Communities & Smart Cities; and Health and Wellbeing. Our mission at BAScii is to develop technology innovators, entrepreneurs, social innovators, and digital age professionals.
To qualify for admission, applicants must have excellent scores in English and Maths as well as an impressive e-portfolio. Shortlisted students will be invited for an interview, and their combined score for English, Maths, portfolio, and interview will be used to finalize a merit list. Each year, the program\'s popularity has led to higher test scores, making admission a highly competitive process. (Please see the Early Admissions Round and Early International Round requirements for Thai and international students).
In less than three years since it opened, the Chulalongkorn School of Integrated Innovation has become the first educational institute with ISO 56002 certification in Thailand and perhaps even Asia. Moreover, it has established an International GIFTED Faculty Hub to recruit global young talent in the post-COVID era. Three Global Innovator Faculty Toward Early-Career Development (GIFTED) Faculty Scholars\' have already joined the school, one each from the US, the UK, and South Korea. Students are also winning accolades, with 34 student teams winning awards, placing as runners-up, or making appearances in finals in various innovation competitions.
