GEN Thailand Co Ltd. and the Chulalongkorn School of Integrated Innovation (ScII) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to foster collaboration and create alliances for implementing initiatives in Thailand and Southeast Asia focusing on the promotion of entrepreneurship education.
A signing ceremony took place on ScII premises on May 17, 2022, between Dato’ Steve Cheah, President, GEN Thailand Co Ltd, and Professor Worsak Kanok-Nukulchai, Executive Director. GEN Thailand Director Mr. Chutchaval Thanvarachon and ScII Deputy Executive Director Dr. Pietro Borsano witnessed the MoU signing. The MoU is valid for five years.
The MOU provides for, among other things, the promotion of joint research projects and the development of entrepreneurial ventures in the areas of entrepreneurship and innovation, digital economy, an entrepreneurial education mindset, applications of educational technology and the future of education as well as human resource training and development, including internships and mentoring initiatives. In addition, the two organizations will showcase Thai entrepreneurship at a global level by establishing a think-tank and publishing a whitepaper on Entrepreneurial Education for Sustainable Development aimed at CLMTV countries (Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Viet Nam).
Among visiting delegation members were Dato’ Stephen Cheah, Mr. Chutchaval Thanvarachon, Mr. Paisan Jeanuthaithamrong of TusParkWHA, and Mr. Sahanon Pramolchok and Mr. Bunyawat Deerojanawong. ScII was represented by Prof Worsak Kanok-Nukulchai, Dr. Pietro Borsano, Dr. Yon Jung Choi, and Dr. Pakjira Leelertphan.
