True, we were in Bangkok—not Paris—and these weren’t the Olympic Games, but every participant gave their all in dedication, commitment, and perseverance at the annual BAScii Sports Day 2024!
Organized by the BAScii Student Council, this vibrant event brought together students, faculty, and staff for a day of friendly competition and community spirit.
The day featured a range of activities, from trivia to relay races, bottle flipping to basketball shooting. But the highlight was undoubtedly the tug of war, where each house team fought with every ounce of strength and unity. The House System, an integral part of BAScii life, had students competing as members of their assigned “house”—each represented by a color. In this year's fierce but friendly rivalry, Terranova (Green) House emerged victorious after a series of hard-fought challenges.
Sports Day wasn’t just about winning; it was a true celebration of camaraderie. With the CSII Executive Director, faculty, and staff competing alongside students, the day served as a perfect reminder of our BAScii community’s shared resilience and willingness to embrace challenges.
Just as BAScii students learn to "fail forward" in entrepreneurship, Sports Day was a testament to the idea that success is built on both effort and joy—even in the face of playful setbacks.
Congratulations to BAScii Student Council on a great event!
