Bangkok, Thailand — Napat Sienglue, Chief Operating Officer (COO), and Chawin Viriyasopon, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), close friends and alumni from the inaugural graduating class of Chulalongkorn School of Integrated Innovation (CSII), together with their Chief Technology Officer and co-founder, an AI researcher and engineer at Snowflake (USA), have announced the formation of a strategic joint venture with Korean healthtech company MetaDx Laboratory.
The partnership will establish METAVET THAI LTD, with an official launch planned for early 2026. The joint venture negotiations and partnership structuring were led by Napat Sienglue.

At the core of this collaboration is SOPet, an AI-powered pet medication and consultation platform co-founded by Napat and Chawin during their studies at CSII. SOPet is recognized as one of the most successful student-founded startups to emerge from CSII’s first graduating cohort and has received funding from the government agencies, including Digital Economy Promotion Agency (DEPA) and the Technology and Innovation-Based Enterprise Development Fund (TED Fund).
MetaDx Laboratory is a leading Korean startup specializing in artificial intelligence for veterinary healthcare. The company serves major veterinary clinics and hospitals, including Chulalongkorn University Veterinary Teaching Hospital, and is introducing Thailand’s first AI-powered cancer screening solution for pets.
The founders’ entrepreneurial journey has been guided since inception by Dr. Ronnakorn Vaiyavuth, who supported the venture from its earliest conceptual stage, alongside key mentors Mr. Kirk Pathumanun and Mr. Tanakrit Sermsuksan.
Through SOPet and the establishment of METAVET THAI LTD as a joint venture with Korean AI company, the team aims to scale MetaDx’s AI-powered cancer screening technology nationwide, embedding advanced diagnostic capabilities directly into veterinary clinical workflows across Thailand.
