What does it look like when a bold idea leads to a borderless opportunity? For Team Chill Guy — our spirited Year 1 students — it meant taking their innovation beyond the pitch stage and onto the global stage. After clinching the Grand Prize at the CP Cup 2024 (read the full story here), the team was invited by Charoen Pokphand Group to join a high-impact study trip to Beijing, China.
From Bangkok to Beijing
Over the course of several days, students had an eye-opening experience learning from CP’s top executives and exploring real-world applications of cutting-edge business and technology. From smart agriculture at the Pinggu Model City to a futuristic walkthrough at Huawei’s Da Vinci Exhibition Hall, the trip offered far more than sightseeing — it was a crash course in global business transformation.
At Huawei (one of CSII's industry partners), students encountered the full scope of innovation: AI-powered systems, green energy solutions, digital content infrastructure, and the future of cloud technology. These weren’t just buzzwords — they were blueprints for how major enterprises are shaping the world we live in.
One of the most unforgettable moments of the CP Cup China trip was a visit to CP Headquarters, where Chairman Supakit Chearavanont and senior CP executives shared insights on leadership, ethical decision-making, and what it means to succeed with purpose. The message was clear: values matter as much as vision.

From a first-year business pitch to standing inside the headquarters of one of Asia’s biggest conglomerates — that’s the kind of trajectory BAScii nurtures. The CP Cup trip was more than a reward; it was a reminder that innovation knows no boundaries and that ambition, paired with action, opens doors early.
