Innovation and entrepreneurship collided at Beat the Biz 2024 competition, organized by Chulalongkorn Entrepreneur Organization, where senior BAScii students - Issaree Srilekarat and Supravee Arayarangsi led their team, VeggieZquad, to victory. Their groundbreaking project, ProRize, a high-protein alternative rice enriched with Wolffia, stole the spotlight with its perfect mix of health-conscious innovation and market potential.
In addition to being crowned champions of Beat the Biz 2024 and receiving the Outstanding Effort Award, the VeggieZquad team was awarded a prize of 45,000 baht, recognizing their exceptional teamwork, creativity, and dedication.
ProRize: An Innovation in Healthy Living
ProRize isn’t just food. Packed with 4.7 times more protein than white rice, fewer carbs, and a wealth of vitamins and minerals, ProRize is designed for a generation that prioritizes health, sustainability, and innovation.
Initiated from the Food and Drug Technology for Well-being Course at BAScii, the brainchild of the VeggieZquad team, ProRize showcases how cutting-edge superfoods like Wolffia can be transformed into a product that’s both delicious and nutritious. Issaree and Supravee, along with their teammates Natnicha Daraneerut and Nartnadda Kraivichian, showcased creativity and business knowledge, crafting a product that not only impressed the judges but also demonstrated a deep understanding of market needs.
From Idea to Triumph
The Beat the Biz 2024 competition offered a platform for aspiring entrepreneurs to bring bold ideas to life. Over the course of three months, participants were mentored by more than 40 business leaders, gaining insights that sharpened their business strategies.
